In this senior project, the group came up with a concept of an active electronic blow-off valve (eBOV) to help smooth out the throttle response during corning in a turbo-charged race car. Using feedback control principles, they were able to develop a prototype of a closed-loop eBOV system and demonstrate the benefits over a passive BOV.
